Why do so many people tell me they don't like politics, or that they don't care if we're in an election year? Politics apply to every individual's life, or at least it should.
Don't be apathetic and trust that your local politicians are always going to work on your behalf. Engage them! Don't be jaded and believe that politicians are only in power to benefit themselves. Hold them accountable!
